North Shore Tamil Fellowship was birthed in the year 2021, during Covid times. For our first meeting, we met only once on 13 August 2022 and then the next day the country went into a long Covid lockdown. But we as a group met online regularly. That is how we could describe the Fellowship as one born during turbulent times, but which maintains a resilient character in seeking the Lord. The people who come to our Fellowship love the Lord dearly and are keen to grow in the Lord.
North Shore Tamil Fellowship, also commonly known as NSTF, is an outreach arm of Otahuhu Community Baptist Church based in South Auckland, which is a mission minded church. When the pastor and leaders of the Church saw the need for a Tamil ministry at North Shore, they sought the Lord about this in prayer for many years. After many years of prayer, the Fellowship was initiated. So, we began to meet, and we enjoyed our fellowship in Christ from the first day. Our meetings are on second Friday and fourth Friday of every month now. We have about 15 to 20 members attending the fellowship currently.
